Rapid Critical Metals opened the week with a striking result at its Webbs silver project in northern New South Wales, reporting 4m at 2089g/t silver from 24m downhole in an ongoing reverse circulation program. The company said the interval sits inside the northern part of the existing Webbs resource area.

Within that 4-metre zone Rapid recorded an included 2m at 3950g/t silver from 24m and a one-metre sample assaying 6060g/t silver from 25m, the highest silver grade the company has returned to date. The firm also reported silver equivalent calculations of 2334g/t for the 4m interval, 4353g/t for the 2m interval and 6596g/t for the 1m sample.

Rapid said the new high-grade mineralisation appears to extend beyond the historical limits of the deposit and will be used to update geological models. The company is expanding its work at Webbs, planning a four-rig campaign, and has further assays pending from subsequent holes.

In Western Australia, Benz Mining posted a major deep intercept at its Glenburgh gold project, with an RC hole returning 46m at 6.5g/t gold from 454m. The company also reported other long runs, including 42m at 3.0g/t from 337m and 39m at 3.1g/t from 388m.

Benz’s program has produced a string of long intercepts, with 12 additional runs between 12m and 87m. The company’s 68-hole, 25,776m RC campaign has outlined a 100m to 200m wide mineralised system across the first kilometre of a three-kilometre trend and has defined mineralisation to more than 500m vertical depth.

Individual lenses in the stacked system average about 30m to 50m wide and are bounded by a broader mineralised halo, Benz said. The company has concentrated its drilling on the Icon camp and expects to use the new data in a maiden resource estimate scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.

Encounter Resources reported a thick, near-surface copper intercept at the Tyrell prospect within its Yeneena Parbo system in the Paterson Province, returning 44m at 1.7% copper from 8.1m downhole from diamond drilling. That broad interval includes 12.7m at 4.9% copper from 25.75m.

Encounter described the result as part of its first drilling at Tyrell since 2014 and said a revised structural interpretation outlines a three-kilometre northeast-trending corridor along the McKay Fault that links the Tyrell and Maitland zones. The company is carrying out sighter metallurgical leach testing on oxide samples and is planning further drilling to test the corridor and down-dip sulphide potential.

Each of the three discoveries will feed into ongoing technical work: Rapid into updated geological models and resource expansion planning, Benz into its maiden resource compilation, and Encounter into metallurgical and structural studies ahead of further testing. Assays remain outstanding for several holes at Webbs, and all three companies plan further field work to follow up these intercepts.
